Virtual Eating Disorder Treatment for Adults
What’s really going on beneath the surface?
From the outside, you look like you’ve got it handled: productive, driven, the one people rely on.
But inside? Food feels out of control.
You’re always thinking about what to eat, when to eat, how to “undo” what you ate. You’ve blamed willpower. Shrugged it off as “not that bad.”
You just want food to feel normal again. What if you didn’t have to wait for things to get worse to ask for help?
You don’t need to hit “rock bottom” to deserve care
Your eating disorder is a signal. Not a failure
You can understand your symptoms without shaming yourself.
Recovery isn’t another test to pass; it’s finding flexibility.
Food can take up less brain space and more joy in your life.
Recovery doesn’t need perfection. Just a safe place to land.

Hi, I’m Marissa!
I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and eating disorder specialist with 15+ years of experience helping people rebuild trust with food and their bodies.
I’ve worked in corporate wellness, eating disorder treatment, and even weight loss clinics. And here’s what I’ve learned: There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to healing. My job isn’t to fix you; it’s to help you figure out what works for you.
Here’s what you can expect:
- I’ll never tell you to “just eat”
- I won’t make you give up foods you love, or eat the ones you hate
- I will help you feel more confident, less stressed around food, and more like yourself again
“First of all, thank you. What I’ve gained from working with you boils down to understanding and grace. I had no idea I’d struggled with disordered eating for so long. I don’t label foods as “bad” anymore, and food choices no longer rule my day. I’m learning to listen to what my body needs and give it just that. I’m much more at peace now. It is freeing.” – Cyra K.
“I went from residential treatment to IOP and then was recommended to Revv Health by my doctor, where I have worked with Marissa now for 2 years. I always wanted to see myself as someone who could fully recover one day, and I am now going to be going off on my own, living on my own, and independently eating without family for the first time. I am ready now because of the work we did and very grateful, thank u.” – Alex D.

FAQ

Is this just for diagnosed eating disorders?
Not at all. I work with people who’ve been formally diagnosed and people who just feel stuck in patterns like bingeing, restricting, food guilt, compulsive exercise, or obsessing over their body. If food feels like a constant mental battle, I can help.
Will you make me gain weight?
Weight is a data point, not a goal. We’ll focus on healing your relationship with food, and your body will settle where it’s meant to be.
How will we handle weigh-ins?
We’ll decide that together.
In many cases, we use blind weights where your weight is tracked without you seeing the number, in order to protect your mental health.
Sometimes we coordinate with your doctor to monitor it outside of our sessions.
And often, if you’re medically stable and working on behavior change, we don’t need to track it at all.
Either way, your weight will never dictate how I counsel you, or the compassion you receive here.
What if I’m not underweight?
Eating disorders don’t have a look. I work with clients in all body sizes. Your struggles with food, movement, or body image are valid no matter what the scale says.
Do I have to be “ready” for recovery to work with you?
No. You don’t need to have it all figured out or be 100% committed. If part of you wants things to feel better (and part of you is terrified of change) you’re in the right place. That tug-of-war is actually really common.
I’ve done a lot of nutrition work before. What’s different about this?
This isn’t creating perfect meal plans or cutting out “bad” foods. This work is helping you understand why food feels so hard, and learning new ways to care for yourself that don’t rely on shame or control.
What if I still want to lose weight?
That’s okay; and you can be honest about that here. I won’t judge it or dismiss it. But we’ll also look at what that desire means for you, how it’s been shaped, and what your body actually needs to feel better long-term.
Can I keep exercising while I work with you?
We’ll talk about that together. Movement can be part of recovery when it’s supportive, not compulsive. I’ll help you tune into what your body needs, not punish it into submission.
What if I’ve relapsed (again)?
You’re not starting from scratch. You’ve learned things before, and we’ll build on those versus shame you for setbacks. Recovery is not linear. We’ll meet you where you are and build skills together.
What if I’m embarrassed about what I’ve done with food?
Please know: nothing shocks me. I’ve heard it all. This is a shame-free space, and you don’t have to explain or justify your symptoms. You’re not the only one: and I’m here to help, not judge.
Ready for to stop running your life?
I want to help you. Let’s talk and see if this is the right fit.
