FAQs

What if I don’t know what I need help with?

That’s completely okay.

Most people come in feeling unsure or just knowing something isn’t working. You don’t need a clear plan or the right words! We’ll figure it out together.

The first step is simply starting the conversation.

What should I expect in the first session?

We’ll start by talking through what’s been going on (i.e., your relationship with food, your health, your routines, and what’s been feeling hard.)

You don’t need to prepare anything or have the “right” answers.

From there, we’ll identify a few realistic next steps so you leave with a clear direction

Do you take insurance?

Many plans are accepted, and a lot of clients end up paying little to nothing out of pocket.

Is this the right fit for me?

I work with adults, athletes, and parents who feel stuck in their relationship with food, their body, or their health.

Most of my clients:

  • go back and forth between being “on track” and completely off
  • think about food more than they want to
  • want to feel better in their body, but don’t want to go back to rigid dieting
  • are navigating health concerns (like high cholesterol, blood pressure, or GI issues) alongside their eating patterns
  • are parents trying to support a child or teen struggling with food or an eating disorder

Many also care about their weight.

We can talk about weight here. But we don’t chase it with restrictive or all-or-nothing approaches. Instead, we focus on stabilizing your eating patterns, supporting your health, and helping your body find a more sustainable place.

You don’t need a diagnosis or a perfect starting point.

If you’re looking for a more sustainable way forward with your eating, your health, or how food shows up in your family, this is likely a good fit.

What if I’m not ready to commit yet?

You don’t have to be.

If you’re feeling unsure, you can start with a free 20-minute welcome call. We’ll talk through what’s going on and whether working together makes sense.

And if I’m not the right fit, I’ll help point you in the direction of someone who is.
