FAQ
Is a welcome call required to get started?
Nope! The Welcome Call is completely optional.
If you’d like to chat first, you can book a free 20-minute call to go over logistics, insurance, and what to expect.
If you already know you’re ready to start, you can skip the call and go straight to booking your Initial Nutrition Session either option is totally fine.
Will insurance cover my services?
I am currently in-network with all Blue Cross Blue Shield payers and will be adding more insurers soon. If I’m not in-network with your insurance, I’ll submit a superbill on your behalf so you can seek reimbursement.
Office location & telehealth
All sessions are conducted via secure telehealth—no in-person visits required!
Response time expectation
I do my best to respond within 24-48 hours. If you don’t hear back, please check your spam folder or reach out again.
Emergency disclaimer
Please note: I do not provide emergency services. If you need immediate support, please contact 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline) or reach out to a medical professional.
Will you accept FSA/HSA cards?
Yes, you can make payments for our services using your FSA or HSA card. Before scheduling a visit, it’s important for you to confirm if your FSA/HSA card includes coverage for nutrition services. While nutrition counseling is frequently covered, you may need a Letter of Medical Necessity (LMN) from your Physician. I strongly advise you to consult with your provider prior to booking a service, as any expenses not covered by your FSA/HSA cards would be your responsibility.
How do you accept payment?
I offer multiple payment options, including ACH transfer, invoicing and billing, as well as secure online payments through Square via your Practice Better account with your stored card information.
Can you work with anyone in the U.S.A.?
Mostly everyone! Although there are dietetic regulations that affect my ability to offer counseling in certain states, your specific nutritional needs and service preferences will determine whether I can personally assist you or recommend a qualified professional from my extensive network. Feel free to submit an application, and I’ll assess your state’s licensure laws to determine the most appropriate course of action.
Do you provide an insurance benefits guide?
Yes, if you plan to contact the number on the back of your card, you’re welcome to utilize the optional Health Insurance Verification Questionnaire. Please submit it to me, and we can both assess your coverage together.
Do you provide counseling for LGBTQIA+ individuals?
Yes! I offer inclusive care to individuals of diverse genders, backgrounds, and identities. My dedication extends to creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere for all clients and support staff associated with REVV Health.
