Have a love-hate relationship with the scale?
The problem is the way you have been told to succeed: that your weight is the most important part of your health.
The Non-Diet Shift is different.
You’ve struggled with your weight for years, trying every diet under the sun, but nothing sticks long-term. Why? Because most weight loss programs are more focused on their profits than on your true health and happiness.
Welcome to the NON-DIET SHIFT. A life-altering, mind-altering experience that helps you become a healthy, flexible eater. No more diets. No more defining your health by the size of your body.
Let’s let go of the scale.
With the NON-DIET SHIFT, you’ll embrace a deeper, more meaningful relationship with food and your body. It’s time to reclaim your well-being and find freedom from the cycle of dieting.
What happens when we shift?
When we shift our focus to helpful behaviors, our focus is in a completely different place.
This shift allows us to break free from old patterns and build a foundation that nurtures both our bodies and minds…
Ready to make the shift? Let’s redefine what it means to live well.

Course Content
Introduction: the Non-Diet Shift
We will address why every diet program you’ve ever done has failed you. We’ll introduce the concept of what it means to S.H.I.F.T. to explore the psychology of eating, perfectionism, the all-or-nothing mentality and how this has all contributed to the endless struggle of weight cycling and chronic dieting.
Self-care
We break down what it means to create rituals that are meaningful, impactful, and supportive.
As a wise mentor once said, “pre-empt the stress.” Know where it is going to come from and visualize what you can do about it.
We’ll teach practical stress-reduction somatic nervous system techniques:
- Somatic awareness
- Mindful self-regulation
- Emotional check-ins
- Setting boundaries
- Breathwork and grounding exercises
And of course, we’ll also cover the essentials: sleep hygiene, joyful movement, and nourishment. But there is often more to it than this.
These practices help you build a deeper connection with your body and emotions, creating the space for true, grounding self-regulation.
Finally, we will give you the tools to help you challenge old ways of thinking with a practical exercise.
Health Focused
Instead of relying on the scale to dictate success, we will measure our progress by health-related behaviors.
- When we shift our focus to our actions instead of counting pounds lost per week, something magical happens—we relinquish the idea that the number on the scale “solves health.”
- By the way, this doesn’t mean you’re not allowed to want to lose weight. Far from it. But, we all know that there are healthy and not-so-healthy habits that can cause weight loss and that losing weight doesn’t automatically guarantee health.
- With this mindset shift, you can free up space in your brain to refocus on things that actually improves your health and boosts your energy, focus and vitality.
Informed Nutrition
Most of us are not taught anything about nutrition and health – not at home and not at school. This leaves quite a knowledge gap and makes us vulnerable to absorbing inaccurate messages online and in our community.
We need to learn the basics in order to be able to take good care of our own bodies and to nourish our own health.
- You will learn how to build balanced meals without feeling deprived
- You will get a good handle on what is and is not evidenced-based nutrition recommendations
- You will be able to learn the basics of what constitutes a healthful dietary pattern of eating
Flexible Eating
Flexible eating is not all-or-nothing.
- You will learn how to incorporate foods you love that used to “control you” and how to handle a sweet tooth.
- You will get a basic understanding of gentle nutrition, and how all foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle.
- During the holidays, you will be able to lean into the imperfection so that you do not go back to “starting your diet after the new year.”
Tolerating Stress
By learning how to tolerate stress and manage discomfort without turning to food, you will not fear your emotions, which helps reduce stress in challenging situations.
- You will identify eating urges, understand the difference between emotional eating/stress eating versus uncontrolled eating episodes and full-out binges
- You will explore how the brain responds in fight-flight-freeze mode and what to do when this happens.
- You will develop strategies for dealing with stress eating and cravings.
As you navigate uncomfortable feelings without turning to food, you’ll gain confidence in your ability to face challenges head-on both through the holidays and into the future.
When you break the cycle of emotional eating, you will be able to shift away from using food as the primary coping mechanism, reducing patterns of overeating and promoting a healthier relationship with food.
When food is no longer used as an emotional crutch, you’ll make more intentional, health-focused, flexible-choices, positively impacting your overall health.
Holiday Bonus!
- Strategies for navigating social situations and food-centric events.
- How to communicate needs and boundaries with friends and family.

Cooking Bonus!

I will load you up with ideas in this bonus portion of the course. This is where we help you look forward to your meals – every single day.
