Family Nutrition & Eating Disorder Support
Helping families navigate eating challenges with a non-diet, whole-family approach.

Help your kids have a healthy relationship with food & their bodies—starting right now.
Nutrition and mealtimes shouldn’t be a battle.
Whether you’re managing weight and growth concerns, supporting a child through an eating disorder with Family-Based Therapy (FBT), or just looking for expert guidance on raising intuitive eaters, I can help.
- Do you find worrying about “messing up” your kids?
- Are you confused about what the heck to feed your kids?
- Would you like clear and practical answers?
You’re not alone. Many parents feel the pressure to get it “right.” Maybe you were fed a certain way growing up, and now you see how it impacted your relationship with food — for better or worse.
As a modern parent, you’re bombarded with conflicting messages about what’s “healthy” or “wrong” for your kids.
It’s overwhelming, stressful, and leaves you second-guessing every meal choice.
That’s where I come in.
Through personalized support, I help families like yours:
- Raise kids who trust their own bodies and enjoy food without guilt
- Recover fully from disordered eating or an eating disorder
- Create a positive eating environment – no more dinnertime battles
- Find relief from the pressure of “getting it right,” while building lifelong healthy habits for your entire family
Why Your Family’s Relationship with Food Matters
Healthy eating isn’t just what’s on the plate: it’s how your family feels about food. By building a positive food culture at home, you’re creating a foundation for a lifetime of healthy habits, joyful meals, and a confident relationship with food for everyone in your family.
I’ll show you how!

Why work with me?
Because I truly understand the challenges you’re facing.
As an experienced dietitian (and a MOM) I know firsthand how tough it can be to raise children in today’s diet-obsessed world.
I grew up immersed in diet culture and did the hard work to unlearn those toxic rules and beliefs. These days, it seems that the pendulum has swung the other way, seeming to ignore nutrition and health goals. Parents are confused about what they are supposed to feed their families and feel guilty.
Here’s what I know: You deserve to be able to feed your kids without questioning every decision about your child’s nutrition.
My mission – should you choose to accept – is to help you raise confident eaters who enjoy all kinds of foods without fear or guilt.
I will help you to find a practical, compassionate approach to feeding your family that prioritizes health and nutrition…without falling into the trap of rigid rules or restrictions.
Believe me when I say that I’ve heard it all. I’m not here to judge or shame you for how you feed your kids. Instead, I’m here to support you in navigating the complex world of family nutrition. My aim is to help you create a healthy food environment tailored to your unique family dynamic.
If you’re searching for a balanced, realistic way to nourish your family, you’re in the right place. I want to help you make mealtimes a source of joy and connection, not stress and worry.
Why REVV Health?

Realistic guidance
- Real-life strategies: We’ll focus on what’s doable, even on your busiest days.
- Flexible, personalized care: Your health goals, your pace, your preferences.
- No guilt, no shame: Just compassionate support to help you feel better in your body.
- Rooted in evidence, not trends: Science-backed guidance that actually works in real life.
- Sustainable habits: Small changes that add up to long-term well-being without the burnout.
Parent nutrition coaching is designed to go beyond conventional dietary teachings of a set number of servings of vegetables or cups of water. While those are important, I also pay close attention to your relationships with food, eating and body image – they all matter. Baby carrots are a healthy snack, but forcing down a vegetable that you hate for the sake of “health” isn’t actually healthy.

Feel listened to
- Judgment-free support: Share your experiences without fear of being criticized or dismissed.
- Your goals, your voice: I’ll listen first, then guide—not the other way around.
- Compassionate conversations: We’ll talk about food, body image, and health with empathy, not assumptions.
- Validation, not lectures: Your feelings and experiences are valid, and they shape how we work together.
This is a partnership, not a prescription: We’ll collaborate to create a plan that feels right for you. Your story matters, your voice leads our coaching work, and your well-being is always the priority. This isn’t just about nutrition; it’s a way of understanding your story, your struggles, and what truly matters to you and your family.
Supporting Your Child Through Eating Disorder Recovery
Be the Anchor Your Child Needs
Family-Based Therapy (FBT) is the gold standard for treating eating disorders in adolescents. Your role as a parent is critical, and I provide expert, judgment-free guidance to help you:
- Understand your child’s eating disorder and the recovery process.
- Build structure and consistency to support meals at home.
- Navigate challenges like meal refusal, fear foods, and social situations.
- Advocate for your child’s needs with their treatment team.
- Prioritize your own self-care so you can be the anchor your child needs.
When your child is slaying the eating disorder dragon, it’s a challenging and emotional journey for the whole family. I provide you with the tools, knowledge, and emotional support to navigate this difficult time with confidence and compassion.
Your child’s full recovery is a whole family effort…and a whole-family win.
With personalized support and guidance, you’ll be equipped to play an active, positive role in your child’s journey. Week by week, your family will heal and grow stronger.

FAQ
Do you take referrals for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) from various practitioners like physicians, dentists, SLPs, OTs, NPs, and therapists?
Yes! I welcome referrals for patients. Please have your physician, dentist or practitioner complete this MNT Referral Form.
Can my child reach out to you without me?
Maybe. For older children and teens who are independently funding their sessions and managing their own meals, they are welcome to request non-diet nutrition counseling.
However, for most of the children I work with, parents or caregivers play a vital role in the healing process. That said, I understand that not every parent-child dynamic feels supportive right now. If your child is struggling in their relationship with you or needs some space to process things on their own, we can discuss how to structure sessions in a way that feels safe and helpful for them.
My goal is to support your child’s well-being while respecting their autonomy and creating a space where they feel heard. Whether we work together as a family or individually, we’ll find an approach that meets your child’s needs.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes! REVV Health is in-network with all Blue Cross Blue Shield (BCBS) Payers. For all other insurances, we submit superbills on behalf of our clientele for possible reimbursement. Get a FREE benefits check here!
Do we need to have a discovery call?
A discovery call, which is a complimentary 20-minute phone or Zoom call is an opportunity for us to chat and answer questions to help ensure that we’re the right fit to work together. However, it is not required. Click here if you’d like to book a discovery call.
If you’re ready to book your first appointment without a discovery call, the first step is completing my inquiry form. Visit the contact page to begin.
What if my child does not want me present in the sessions?
Open communication between parents and their child about their preferences is encouraged. If a child prefers a solo session while the parent/guardian prefers to be present, I facilitate a sensitive conversation where the child can comfortably address concerns, and I offer recommendations for parental support. Separate appointments or phone chats are welcomed for parents to understand their supportive role in their child’s counseling journey.
What if my child is over 18 and still needs my help?
Regardless of your child’s age, if we determine that your presence is best for their care, we will make those accommodations so that your child can get the help they need.
Can the whole family receive counseling together?
Yes! Family counseling is available and can be a beneficial option for addressing issues collectively.
Note: if everyone comes to the session together, I am especially mindful when working with young children to avoid discussing topics that I consider too mature for their age.
